Whether she is teaching, competing, performing, deejaying, or just dancing socially, Lark is sure to have a smile on her face and a song in her heart!

Matt Pait

Raised in Fort Collins, Matt’s exposure to Lindy Hop began while playing trumpet for his school’s concert and jazz bands. The music, as well as some persuasion of a pretty girl in his class, led him to the dance, and he participated in the first social dance class his school offered in 2003, immediately becoming addicted to swing music and dancing. Since then Matt has been dedicated to sharing his passion through performing and teaching, has fostered a community of young dancers in his town and became a top performer on local Swing teams including CSU's Blam, 23 Skidoo and, cmDance.

Matt has taught extensively in Denver and nationally from coast to coast. Although his focus has been on Lindy Hop, he has also studied East Coast Swing, solo jazz movement, Balboa, and blues. His students appreciate Matt's passion, his emphasis on having fun, and creativity.
